Moscow, Mar 3 (Prensa Latina) The latest sanctions by the United States and the European Union (EU) against Russia individuals and organizations are an interference in the country's internal affairs, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov reiterated on Wednesday.

The Presidency press secretary assured that such restrictions 'are unacceptable because they significantly damage the already deplorable relations', not only with the EU, but also the United States.

Peskov said such decisions are considered by Moscow 'absurd and without any justification,' TASS news agency reported.

About the EU and US accusations of alleged poisoning by opposition blogger Alexei Navalny, the head of the Russian Presidency press office urged those countries to share the evidence they had to solve the case.

The Kremlin spokesman said that Moscow will respect the principle of reciprocity. 'The principle of reciprocity is impossible to reject it in interstate relations.'

However, Peskov clarified that Russia will not cut contacts with the EU and the United States through law enforcement agencies amid the new sanctions.
