Saint Lucia on Sunday joined the proposal of the Nobel Peace Prize for Cuba's Henry Reeve International Contingent of Doctors Specialized in Situations of Disasters and Serious Epidemics.

The general governor of Saint Lucia, Emmanuel Neville Cenac, endorsed the nomination of the Cuban medical contingent, a brigade of which has been working here since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020.

Neville Cenac described Cuba's international projection as 'unique', as Cuba earns 'the world's love and admiration' through international solidarity.

The governor and other two political figures, Dame Pearlette Louisy and Kenny Anthony, joined the Cuba-Saint Lucia Humanistic Association of Solidarity to acknowledge Cuba's medical cooperation.
