Russian journalist calls to protect honesty and justice of Cuba

Cuba represents a very fragile hope for the whole world that was left once the Soviet Union ceased to exist, that is why it must be protected as a guide of honesty and justice, said the renowned Russian journalist and blogger Konstantin Syomin.

According to Syomin, the honesty and justice that still prevail among the people of Cuba are “the main reasons why we must continue fighting in defense of Cuba”.

The journalist spoke to the Russian YouTube channel Europe for Cuba, recalling his trip to Cuba in 2006 and how he was able to verify the meaning of the Revolution, the value of heroes such as Fidel Castro, Ernesto Che Guevara and Camilo Cienfuegos for his people.

He commented that despite the difficulties suffered by the criminal US blockade, the country’s authorities are trying to advance a process of development of social justice.

Considered one of the opinion leaders among the Russian left wing, Syomin expressed his concern for the future of Cuba, amid the shortages generated by the blockade.

He also highlighted the humanism of the Cuban people, manifested in the last years of the Covid-19 pandemic through its doctors providing help in many countries of the world.
