Russian Intelligence: Europe "Completely Ignores the Real Situation in Ukraine"
especiales

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) stated this Wednesday that there is growing concern in European capitals over the potential failure of the project created in Ukraine to confront Russia.
"Experts from the Foreign Policy and Defense ministries of major European countries are sounding the alarm, warning national governments of the imminent collapse of the 'anti-Russia' project created by the West in Ukraine," the communiqué reads.
The agency asserts that "the reports sent to high-ranking officials directly point to the inevitability of a military defeat for the Kyiv regime." "Significant attention is paid to the widespread corruption in Ukraine, where the generous donations from foreign donors disappear without a trace," the SVR states.
"EU Foreign Policy ministries are alarmed to observe that Ukrainians are increasingly demotivated and apathetic, amid the profound fatigue caused by the prolonged and debilitating conflict," the Russian intelligence service continues.
In this context, the SVR mentioned the major corruption scandal shaking the Kyiv regime, involving businessman Timur Mindich, known as the 'wallet' of Volodymyr Zelensky, who is alleged to have orchestrated the corruption scheme.
"According to reports from European diplomats and intelligence officers, most Ukrainian citizens feel betrayed following the revelations about the rampant looting within the government top echelon in the 'Mindich and company' case," it notes.
A "Source of Salvation"
Furthermore, Ukrainians "have lost faith" in the country being accepted into the European Union in the near future, and there is a widespread belief among the population that "they cannot count on significant help from Europe," the agency adds.
"Ordinary citizens recognize that the state is mired in corruption, which is why in Europe, there are increasingly more who oppose the allocation of substantial funds for Kyiv's needs. Besides Hungary and Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Romania are beginning to adopt this stance. Therefore, Ukraine's political weight in Europe is diminishing. Ukrainians increasingly less perceive their European partners as a source of salvation and support," the body explains.
Meanwhile, European leaders "completely ignore the real situation in Ukraine," the SVR emphasizes. "They cannot accept the idea that the hundreds of billions of euros invested in the 'Ukrainian project' have simply vanished and that their political careers are in tatters. It is easier for them to continue confusing illusions with reality," it adds.
"However, even the most sophisticated self-deception cannot avoid the inevitable clash with reality. The later Europe understands this, the more painful it will be," the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service concludes.
