Moscow, Sep 20 (Prensa Latina) The vice president of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), Dmitri Novikov, stressed that his party refuses to acknowledge the results of the recent online voting in this capital.

'We have seen the results in the districts, we have seen how our colleagues won and how everything changed after the digital data appeared,' the politician said in reference to the elections to the State Duma (Lower House of Parliament).

CPRF Central Committee President Genadi Zyuganov charged that before the results of the online voting were announced in single-member constituencies, six communist candidates were winning in Moscow, but they lost after the digital votes were published.

'We will not acknowledge them, it is inadmissible,' the leader of the CPRF faction in the State Duma emphasized, according to Sputnik news agency.

The electronic voting was enabled in Moscow and six other regions, a possibility in the hands of 2.6 million of 110 million citizens called to vote.

In that regard, the vice president of the electoral commission in Moscow, Dmitri Reut, said that the refusal of the CPRF will not change the electoral result.
