Moscow, Jun 23 (RHC)-- Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu stressed Wednesday that his country is cooperating in the military-technical sphere with Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, three countries facing threats of the use of force.

The Russian head of state said that this partnership is historic. 'These are nations that for years have been facing various forms of pressures and even threats of the use of force,' he stated at the Moscow Conference on International Security.

More than 600 delegates from over a hundred countries and international organizations, including representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the United Nations, are participating in the event, which will conclude Thursday.

Shoigú also highlighted the progress of cooperation with Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay, according to Sputnik news agency.
