La Paz, Apr 20 (Prensa Latina) President Vladimir Putin on Monday told his Bolivian counterpart Luis Arce, that Russia will send as many as 5.2 million Sputnik V vaccine doses to the South American nation.

During a telephone talk, Vladimir Putin said that in addition to 200,000 doses –which will land in Bolivia on Tuesday- another batch will arrive late April, Luis Arce tweeted.

Both governments reactivated their Mixed Commission for Economic and Trade Cooperation 'for the benefit of our peoples,' Arce added on Twitter. A Bolivian aircraft will land on Tuesday at the Cochabamba Airport, with the first Sputnik V vaccine doses, Bolivian Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade Benjamin Blanco told the press.

'Putin told Arce that all batches would be regularized through June, in other words, 5.2 million vaccine doses will be arriving in Bolivia,' Blanco stressed.
