Pope Francis called for dignified job opportunities for everyone

Pope Francis urged here on Sunday to reiterate the commitment to dignified employment for all, in any part of the world.

After concluding the Sunday prayer Queen of Heaven before thousands of parishioners gathered at St. Peter’s Square, the Supreme Pontiff dedicated a comment to May Day celebrations.

Francis also asked that this international event today also serve as a stimulus so that in the labor world there exists the will to make an economy of peace grow.

In this regard, he paid tribute to the workers killed in their jobs, which he considered “a widespread tragedy, perhaps too much so”.
