especiales

The plane transporting the constitutional president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, who was kidnapped today during an attack by the United States Government against that country, arrived at a military base in New York shortly before 5:00 PM local time.
During an address this Saturday afternoon in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, President Donald Trump provided details of the special operation that resulted in the abduction and forcible extraction from Venezuela of the Bolivarian leader and his wife, Cilia Flores.
In the early hours of this Saturday, January 3, at approximately 2:00 AM local time, multiple explosions and aircraft overflights were reported in Caracas and other Venezuelan cities.
Trump had indicated several days ago that his decision regarding Venezuela was made amid an unprecedented increase in tensions between the two countries.
The mission was carried out by the Army's Delta Force, with the location tracked by the CIA, to which Trump had granted authorization for covert activities within Venezuela.
At the time of writing this report, the plane was still on the runway at the military base, with the boarding stairs deployed.
