Lima, Sep 21 (Prensa Latina) Peruvian Prime Minister Guido Bellido denied statements by a Foreign Ministry official, according to whom the Government does not acknowledge any legitimate Venezuelan authority.

'I refute the deputy foreign minister's statement about not recognizing any legitimate authority in Venezuela, it is not the government's position,' he said, and denied the veracity of the statements by Deputy Foreign Minister Juan Chavez who said that in Venezuela 'there is no authority that we can consider legitimate'.

'Our president had a meeting with President Nicolas Maduro to solve the migration crisis. If the foreign minister or his deputy does not like it, the doors are open,' Bellido stressed on his Twitter account.

With that statement, Chavez made his own interpretation of President Pedro Castillo's speech at the 6th Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), where he said that Peru maintains and will maintain diplomatic relations with all the countries in the region, without any discrimination.

'The foreign policy message of President Castillo's government is that Peru must communicate with all countries, with all states, without ideological prejudices; that is the meaning of his message,' the Deputy foreign minister said.

In Venezuela's, 'there has not been any authority that we can consider legitimate' since January 5, when Juan Guaido's term as president of the Legislative Assembly of Venezuela ended, he said.

Guado's proclaimed himself the president of Venezuela and tried to overthrow the Maduro's government.
