Mexico, Jun 1 (Prensa Latina) Mexico is preparing the conditions to hold the 3rd Cultural Meeting for Peace from June 12 to 25 through the social program 'Cultivating Art and Culture in Tlalpan', organizers said.

According to a press release, the program will begin with a series of activities broadcast on social media from the Mayor's Office of Tlalpan, one of 13 municipalities that make up the Mexican capital, and will consist of three segments: videos, lectures and a course-workshop, as well as the screening of a documentary.

Organizers stated that the event will consist of lectures, keynote speeches, children's forums, audiovisual presentations, debates on Covid-19 and its effects on children, public spaces and community cultural life.

Human rights advocates, the academy of institutions such as Mexico City, the Autonomous University, the Spanish Cultural Center and the Secretariat of Culture, as well as local cultural officials from Queretaro and Michoacan, among others, will actively participate in those 13 days of culture.

This 3rd Cultural Meeting for Peace will be attended by Nashieli Ramirez, president of the Human Rights Commission of Mexico City, and several professors and researchers who specialize in children's issues and public affairs.
