Japanese ambassador to Cuba to give a lecture on traditional painting

The Japanese Culture Day in Havana, starting November 2 through 11, includes among its proposals a master lecture on Wednesday by Japan's Ambassador to Cuba, Hirata Kenji, about the traditional paintings of his country.
The Hemicycle of the Universal Art Building at the National Museum of Fine Arts will host the diplomat’s meeting this Wednesday afternoon and the exhibition “Fifty-three Seasons of Tōkaido” at the Transitory Room of the gallery.
On Thursday, the Vitrina de Valonia Cultural Center will host another exhibition, 4-KOMA, the name given to four-vignette manga.
This event will have a varied program, including the exhibition of images chosen by the Japan Chamber Industry Institute.
The Japanese Culture Day in Havana is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the migrations from Japan to Cuba.
