Italy hosts 10th Ibero-American Film Festival

Rome, Nov 4 (Prensa Latina) The 10th Ibero-American Film Festival opens in Rome from this Friday to November 6, where ten films from Colombia, Dominican Republic, Peru, Argentina, and Ecuador will be screened.

According to a communique released on the official website of Casa del Cinema, which will host the Scoprir 2022 Festival, the Cervantes Institute organized the event, in coordination with the embassies of Iberia-American nations in Rome.

It includes first works and films by consecrated directors with genres from drama to comedy, as well as documentary films and experimental materials representing new forms of film making, according to the source.

Among the works are Spanish fiction film “Destello Bravío” (Mighty Flash), as well as the documentary films “Barajas” from Ecuador, “Piazzola, la Revolución del Tango” (Piazzola, Tango’s Revolution) from Argentina, and “Panquiaco” from Panama, he adds.
