Israeli attacks kill civilians in Syria and Lebanon

At least six people were killed and 15 others injured in an Israeli missile attack on the town of Sayeda Zeinab, located about five kilometres south of the Syrian capital Damascus.

Medical staff at Al-Sader hospital in Sayeda Zeinab said the death toll could rise as many of the wounded are in critical condition.

Israel has intensified its hostile military actions against targets on Syrian territory, with more than 127 attacks in almost a year, resulting in at least 100 deaths and extensive material damage.

At least 24 people, mostly children, were killed in an Israeli bombing of a building in the village of Alamat in southern Lebanon on Sunday.

The Lebanese Health Ministry said eight other people were injured as efforts continued to clear the rubble and search for the missing.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the Zionist raid in Mashghara in the Bekaa region has risen to three.
