International Scientific Convention Saber UH 2025 concludes in Havana

After a week of colloquiums, seminars, events, symposiums, conferences, workshops, congresses, student meetings and much more, the 2nd International Scientific Convention Saber UH 2025, which took place since May 26 in Havana, concludes today.
With the participation of more than 2,800 accredited people, of which 650 are students from different universities in the country and more than 300 foreign visitors, including more than 50 academic leaders, this event with science also included more than 30 scientific activities, four of which were for students.
Around 43 countries from different continents gathered in Havana to, in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, acquire and exchange new knowledge related to various topics such as biotechnology and biomedical sciences, as well as renewable energies, environment and sustainable development.
PhD Maday Alonso del Rivero Antigua, vice rector of Research and Postgraduate Studies of the UH, told the press that the most important thing about an event is to fulfill its main objectives and Saber UH always provides spaces for researchers, academics and students from various scientific disciplines to exchange knowledge,
discuss recent advances in their respective areas of knowledge and encourage interdisciplinary collaboration.
