Havana, May 17 (RHC) -- Cuba is committed to guaranteeing all rights for all people. We salute the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia.

President Miguel Diaz- Canel made this statement on Twitter.

The XIV edition of the Cuban Days against Homophobia and Transphobia is taking place from May 4 through the 30, and it is focusing on the process of modifying the Family Code.

The event has been organized in Cuba since 2008 by the National Center for Sex Education (CENESEX) to contribute to the comprehensive education on sexuality and the recognition of the rights of all people without distinction as an exercise of equity and social justice.
