The Eyeife Women festival opened here as a space for the women's empowerment in electronic music and artistic scenarios.

As a celebration of International Women’s Day, the event, held at the Cuban Art Factory (FAC) in Havana, will have a theoretical day to discuss the challenges faced by women in the genre and the opportunities for their musical growth.

Renowned personalities will give a training workshop for participants in the event, to which more than dozens of DJs and other artists who fuse their creations with electronic rhythms are invited.

On Thursday, March 9, it will be the turn for DJs in the FAC halls, where they will combine talent, frenetic rhythm and flavor to the delight of the audience, combined with various artistic manifestations.

It will be two days when the experience and new female talents of electronic music will show off and demonstrate their power on the Eyeife Women platform, an opportunity to gain in growth and artistic strength.

On this International Women’s Day, the workshops will be given by experts Eva Fernandez, Darsi Fernandez, Rochy Ameneiro, Sandra Lopes, Eme Alfonso and Dj Laydis.

The debate will include topics such as the fight for non-violence against women and girls.

The closing night will feature performances by Dj Pauza, Madame Butterfly, Dj Laydis, Ana Giz, Samy Afro Seven, Ikari Night, Felurian, Emy Abreu Saboorr, and other artists and groups.
