Evo Morales condemns US appetite for Bolivia's resources

Buenos Aires, Oct 15 (Prensa Latina) Former President Evo Morales on Thursday condemned the imperial appetite of the United States to control Bolivia's abundant resources.

Morales wrote on Twitter that Washington 'does not forgive us that we recovered the natural resources, nationalized gas, started the industrialization of lithium as a State, closed the US military base and expelled the DEA'.

Humankind's fight is for who controls natural resources: the people or the empires, the indigenous leader noted.

In another twit, he congratulated Argentinean journalist, researcher and writer Stella Calloni for her two great intellectual contributions: 'Golpe en Bolivia. Washington Ordenó OEA Ejecutó' and 'Evo en la Mira: CIA y DEA en Bolivia'.

In her two books, Calloni wrote about the persecution of social movements, especially the indigenous movements, and pointed out publicly that there is no doubt about the participation of the Organization of American States (OAS) and the United States in the coup d'état against Evo Morales in 2019.
