European organizations denounce attacks on Cuba

Berlin, Feb 16 (Prensa Latina) Organizations from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Spain denounced mounting attacks on Cuba and the unfolding of a smear campaign against the island, promoted from the United States, diplomatic sources reported today.

During an online exchange, representatives of the Germany-Cuba Friendship Association, Cubainformación communication project and the Cuba-Switzerland solidarity group, among others, analyzed increasing attacks against the Caribbean nation and plans to cause instability in that country.

They also discussed possible initiatives to fight manipulation of the Cuban reality, carried out by media outlets and groups funded from Washington.

The meeting was also attended by Cuban Ambassador in Germany, who, along with the other attendees, answered internet users' questions.
