Havana, June 26 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel says that the United States is lying in its campaign against Cuba's international health cooperation.   On his Twitter account, the president described as "false, illegitimate and unilateral the list on human trafficking on which Washington includes the Caribbean nation."

"With blatant "confusion" between saving people and human trafficking, the Empire lies and tries to confuse.  Its false list is illegitimate and unilateral, without moral force.  They can't stand the example of #Cuba. #We areCuba #SaveLives."

Earlier, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez assured that the Caribbean country maintains a policy of zero tolerance against human trafficking, in response to the recent signals from the United States about the Cuban medical missions serving many countries.

Rodriguez rejected the inclusion of his nation in the State Department's annual report on human trafficking and ratified the island's exemplary performance against any form of this scourge.
