The Cuban record company Bis Music today announced its First Contest of Recording Projects, aimed at professional musicians registered with music marketing agencies or centers and young members of the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS).
According to the announcement, each artistic unit may submit a single project that outlines its objectives, the genres it addresses, the format to be used, the included songs and their authors, along with a curriculum vitae detailing the artists' professional trajectory.
The project must include at least two of the proposed songs. Recordings can be "live" takes made with home equipment, intended solely as a sample.
Proposals must be submitted to the Bis Music headquarters, located at Calle 21 No. 459 between E and F, Vedado, Plaza de la Revolución, Havana. The admission deadline closes on the upcoming December 1.
A jury convened by Bis Music will evaluate the submitted projects and select a winner. The prize consists of the material production of the album in 2026, along with its promotion and distribution through this record label.
The contest will be held as part of the BIS MUSIC FEST "Crazy for Music" this coming December, and the jury's verdict will be announced at the inauguration of the event.
