Cuban Symphony Orchestra dedicates concert to Italian music
Havana, Apr 10 (Prensa Latina) The National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba will on Sunday give a concert entitled "From Verdi to Morricone," as part of the San Remo Music Awards Cuba 2022, which is taking place in Havana.
According to organizers, the Symphony Orchestra will play several works by some of the most important Italian composers, included works from Giuseppe Verdi to contemporary musicians like Ennio Morricone, well known for his music for films.
The concert will take place at the Covarrubias Hall of the National Theater of Cuba, in Havana, at 11:00 hours, local time, and the orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Enrique Perez Mesa.
The San Remo Music Awards Cuba 2022 is running in several venues in Havana until Sunday, with the participation of national and foreign artists, and a program that included a performance contest, concerts and a business fair.
