Havana, Jun 28 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez on Tuesday sent his deepest condolences to relatives of the 50 migrants found dead in abandoned trailer in San Antonio, Texas.

On Twitter, the Cuban foreign minister posted their painful death “shows the repressive, discriminatory and exclusionary behavior against migrants.”

Plus, Bruno Rodríguez wished speedy recovery for the injured, while Director-General of Consular Affairs and Cuban Residents Abroad at the Foreign Ministry (MINREX, in Spanish) Ernesto Soberón reiterated his deepest condolences and insisted on the significance of cooperating and comprehensively dealing with migration causes.

On Monday, the US authorities announced 46 people were found dead in an abandoned trailer and explained that 16 other people were hospitalized, 12 adults and four children.

Initial reports indicated the victims apparently died of killing hot.

“The 46 people were warm to the touch; (…) there were no signs of water in the trailer or visible air conditioning system inside, “an official stressed.

The San Antonio Fire Department explained the victims suffered injuries such as heat stroke and exhaustion.
