Cuba reports 8,317 cases of Covid-19 and 86 deaths

Havana, September 8 (RHC)-- Cuban health authorities on Wednesday confirmed 8,317 new positive cases of Covid-19, and 86 deaths due to complications from the disease.
With these figures, the country accumulates 712,992 diagnosed since March 11, 2020, and 5,967 deaths.
There were 36,629 active patients hospitalized islandwide.
Pinar del Rio remained to report a very high number f cases with 1568, it was followed by Sancti Spiritus with 878 and Las Tunas with 838 cases.
