Cuba reports 715 new COVID-19 cases, three deaths

Havana, February 15 (RHC) -- Cuba reported 715 new infections of COVID-19 and three deaths. The island accumulates 39 004 positives and 269 deaths since March 2020. There were  609 medical discharges.

In his national televised briefing on Monday, Dr. Francisco Durán García, the island’s Chief Epidemiologist, said that on Sunday, 17,807 samples were processed for the diagnosis of COVID-19 in the 21 laboratories of the country.

The country woke up Monday with 18 355 patients admitted: 3 195 suspected, 10 257 under surveillance, and 4 903 confirmed cases.

Havana reported remains reporting the most cases, 344 on Sunday. It was followed by Santiago de Cuba with 99, and Guantanamo with 42.
