Havana, August 31 (RHC)—Cuban health authorities reported on Tuesday the diagnoses of 6, 342 new cases of Covid-19 and 84 deaths associated with the viral disease over the last 24 hours.The island now accumulates 652,855 cases and 5,303 fatalities since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.

There were 35 488 confirmed patients hospitalized as of midnight.

Pinar del Rio reported 834 cases, Havana 761 and Villa Clara 530. Those were the provinces with the most cases.
