Cuba reports 27 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths

Cuba´s Public Health Ministry (MINSAP) on Monday reported 27 new cases of Covid-19, after conducting 436 tests.

According to MINSAP´s latest report, Cuba has so far carried out 14,348,702 tests at the molecular biology laboratories, of which 1,114,319 came back positive.

Out of the 27 new cases (11 males and 16 females), 20 of them were contacts of already confirmed cases, one infected from abroad and six with no source of infection yet specified.

The infections were reported in Havana, Cienfuegos, Villa Clara, Sancti Spíritus, Camagüey, Las Tunas, Holguín and Santiago de Cuba.

173 patients are currently hospitalized, 78 of them reported as suspected cases and 95 as confirmed active patients. All patients are in a stable clinical progress. There are no critically-/seriously-ill patients in ICUs, or deaths.

Regarding vaccination, Cuba had applied as many as 44,089,196 Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala vaccine doses.
