Cuba reports 110 Covid-19 cases and one death

Cuba on Saturday reported 110 new Covid-19 cases, four fewer than on Friday, and one death, the same as a day before, due to complications related to the disease in the last 24 hours.

Cuba has accumulated 963,000 contagions and 8,307 deaths since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic almost 21 months ago, the website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported.

The MINSAP report stated that 608 active patients are in hospitals while 3,393 others are at home, 2,693 of them are Covid-19 suspects and 92 are under surveillance.

On December 3,148 patients, 38 more than those diagnosed, have been discharged from hospitals and 954,030 people have recovered from the disease, accounting for 99.1 percent.
