Cuba reported 44 Covid-19 cases and no deaths

Havana, May 25 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Ministry of Public Health informed on Wednesday that in the last 24 hours, 44 people were detected with Covid-19 and no deaths were reported as a result of the pandemic.

A total of 4,623 samples were tested at the Molecular Biology laboratories to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Of 214 active cases nationwide, 212 have a stable clinical evolution, while two people remain in intensive care units.

With the 71 clinical discharges granted, the total number of recovered cases rose to 1,096,289 since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020. A total of 1,105,091 cases have been reported since then.

No deaths were reported during the day, so the death toll remains at 8,529 in two years.
