Cuba affirms that US infringes peace in Latin America

The US government has infringed the principles of peace assumed by Latin America and the Caribbean, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla stated on Friday.

On his Twitter account, the foreign minister evoked the proclamation signed by the leaders of the continent in January 2014 in Havana, by which Latin America and the Caribbean were declared as zone of peace.

This took place during the 2nd Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).

The peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean are committed to foster cooperation and friendly relations, regardless of differences in their political, economic and social systems: unity in diversity, Rodriguez Parrilla wrote.
