China reports fewer Covid-19 new outbreaks in Xinjiang and Liaoning

Beijing, Aug 4 (Prensa Latina) China reported on Tuesday 36 Covid-19 cases, mainly due to new outbreaks of the disease in Xinjiang and Liaoning, and this is the fourth consecutive day the country has a decreasing trend in the daily number of confirmed cases.
 
According to the most recent report from China's National Health Commission, of the new patients, 28 are from Xinjiang and three from Liaoning.

Some four cases were also reported in the Shanghai municipality, and the Sichuan and Guangdong provinces.

The Commission kept Hong Kong with the worst-case scenario, after reporting 80 other cases in the last hours, and a death, totaling 3,589 patients diagnosed with the virus and 38 deaths from the disease throughout the year.

China totals 4,679 deaths from Covid-19, some 264 asymptomatic people and 88,573 confirmed cases, 2,098 of them are imported, mainly among compatriots returned from abroad.
