Brasilia, Apr 24 (Prensa Latina) At least nine opposition parties, social movements, lawyers, students and religious leaders in Brazil decided to unite dozens of initiatives to call for the removal of President Jair Bolsonaro, according to the Workers' Party (PT).

The website of the PT at the Chamber of Deputies specifies that after an online meeting with 150 people it was determined to formalize a 'super request' for ousting Bolsonaro, described as irresponsible in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The proposal to unify the movement was decided on April 13th between leaders of the Workers, Communist of Brazil, Popular Unity, Socialism and Freedom, Sustainability Network, Green, Labor Democrat, Citizenship and Brazilian Socialist parties, who established a series of joint actions to achieve this.

Also acting in favor of mass Covid-19 vaccination and resuming emergency aid of 600 reais per month (106 USD) for informal workers and low-income families.

The group of political organizations, all signatories of impeachment petitions, tries to build bridges to pressure the president of the lower house, Arthur Lira, to order the opening of the process of removing Bolsonaro.

The meeting was a milestone in strengthening the movement for the deposition of Bolsonaro, said deputy Jose Guimarães, who reported that a working group will be created that will meet next week to put the decisions made into practice.
