The solidarity association Cuba Si France announced that it will host at its stand at the Fête de l'Humanité a forum to denounce and condemn the blockade imposed by the United States on the island.

Convened together with the union of Rotativists and Communicators of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT), the meeting will take place on Saturday, September 10, in the context of the traditional political-cultural festival that every year attracts hundreds of thousands of people in the Paris Region, on this occasion from September 9 to 11.

The important event will be a show of active solidarity with the Cuban people, stressed in its invitation Cuba Si France, an association with more than three decades of accompaniment to the Caribbean country and its Revolution.

According to the organizers, the national secretary of the French Communist Party, Fabien Roussel, the deputy and communist parliamentary leader André Chassaigne, the general secretary of the CGT Railwaymen Federation, Laurent Brun, and the Cuban ambassador Otto Vaillant, among others, will take part in the forum.

Also addressing the public as guests of honor will be the head of the island’s delegation to the Fête de l’Humanité, Yoerky Sanchez, deputy and member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and the Council of State, and the person in charge of Europe in the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Belkys Lay.

Cuba Si France also said that during the popular event it will host music, handicrafts and cocktails from the Antillean nation and a conversation with young journalist Mailys Khider, author of the book Cuban Doctors: Armies of Peace.
