Armando Manzanero's remains arrive in Yucatan

Mexico, Dec 29 (Prensa Latina) Popular singer-songwriter Armando Manzanero Canche died of Covid-19 on Monday at the age of 86, and his remains have arrived in his birthplace, Yucatan, as he had once requested.

The singer of Esta Tarde Vi Llover died of kidney complications that triggered general health problems, as explained by his relatives.

Six days ago, Manzanero received a tribute in full health 'as they should be done in life', in his native land, Merida, Yucatan, where Manzanero's house was opened.

His relatives said that Manzanero stayed in his house during the first moments of contagion, but as the treatment was not working, he had to be hospitalized immediately.

Although reluctant, he accepted doctors' recommendation and was submitted to the protocol, which helped to reduce the Covid-19 symptoms, but not his kidney disease, which caused his death.
