Argentine troubadour to premiere song in tribute to Fidel Castro

Buenos Aires, Nov 25 (Prensa Latina) Outstanding Argentine troubadour Paula Ferre will premiere for all Latin America a song dedicated to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, after five years of his pass towards immortality.

The song is entitled “A Fidel” (To Fidel) and according to the composer, she wrote it on the day of his death, in 2016, and took shape and music during the Covid-19 lockdown last year.

Ferre will sing the song live on Thursday evening for the entire region, and it can be seen through her accounts on social media and on YouTube.

The song is accompanied of a video by documentary filmmaker Martin Adorno, friend and activist for human rights and Cuba.

During the virtual premiere of the song, several organizations and social movements, among them members of the Network of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense of Humanity, the Argentinean-Cuban Fraternity Space, Cuban residents in this country, the Association of Educators of Latin America and the Caribbean and the PARLASUR Human Rights Commission, will be present.

Several tributes to Fidel Castro will be held in Argentina this Thursday.
