Paris, Feb 18 (Prensa Latina) The Cuba Cooperation France Association (CubaCoop) on Thursday described the alleged sonic attacks on US diplomats in the island as fable, actions aimed at hindering any effort to improve the Washington-Havana relations.

We see that they are like a balloon that deflates, but the desired effects are serious and are present, CubaCoop underlined in its weekly publication La lettre electronique Hebdo, through which it disseminates the Cuban reality among his French readers.

The organization founded in 1995 shared in its letter a recent Prensa Latina interview with Cuban researcher Fabian Escalante, an expert in State security affairs who attributed the so-called Havana Syndrome to an operation by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

CubaCoop also recalled Escalante's remarks on the continuity of the US objectives and methods for Cuba: destroy its social model and put an end to the revolutionary government.

In its lettre electronique Hebdo, the French association considered that two conclusions can be drawn from the alleged sonic attacks, and the first one is not to be fooled by the slanders the main media spread.

The latter is to be clear the need for a strong global pressure so that the United States adopts a policy toward Cuba, consistent with the right of the peoples to decide their destiny and respectful of this small, independent, generous and united country, CubaCoop stated.
