Havana, Nov 4 (Prensa Latina) The 29th edition of Havana Contemporary Music Festival is a window to see what is happening in the world and show Cuban production, stated today the president of the event, Guido López-Gavilán.

The event, taking place from November 12 to 20, invites musicians from the United States, Germany, Spain, Chile, Puerto Rico, Serbia and Switzerland, which will have performances in different venues, he informed.

Since its foundation, the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) supported this initiative, one of the few devote to disseminate contemporary creations on the island, said López-Gavilán at a press conference.

The Theater Hall of the National Museum of Fine Arts will host on 15, 17, 18 and 19 most presentations of foreign artists, he said.

Another venues of this festival are the Minor Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, with concerts on 15, 17 and 19. The Covarrubias Hall of the National Theater of Cuba, the Casa de las Americas, the Oratorio San Felipe Neri, the ALBA Cultural House, the National Lyric Theater of Cuba and the Grand Teather of Havana also open their doors to the event.
