The medal, handed over in a ceremony held in Bogota, was awarded to praise her work and results while heading Cuba´s audit entity.

On behalf of Cuban people and government, Gladys Bejerano detailed the history of Cuba´s Comptrollership as well as its goals and missions.

Likewise, Bejerano noted we must keep on working hard to ensure greater efficiency in the audit work, especially now with the economical update carried out in the island.

Bejerano is in Bogota to attend the inauguration of Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos in his second term.
