In this picture of November 1st, 2016, vote-by-mail ballots for the 2016 U.S. general election are seen at the Salt Lake County, Utah, government center.

According to the Associated Press (AP), this Sunday, Donald Trump, four months after the elections, tries to question the integrity of the electoral process.

The stage he used was a church in Phoenix, Arizona, and he addressed his speech to young attendees.

He used the same tactic during 2016, when he accused his former rival, Hillary Clinton, of conspiring against him.

Experts before and now have rejected that criterion.

The aforementioned news agency said that a candidate's efforts to discredit the electoral process would amount to a breakdown of faith in North American democracy.

But, according to historians, this procedure has no precedents within the United States.

When the official historian Douglas Brinkley was asked if any former president of that country had acted in this way, he stated:

"Never. What we are looking at someone who is an autocrat or a dictator in action.

This year, due to the pandemic, Trump has struggled to use mail voting.

Taking into account the threat the pandemic poses, especially among elders, who are generally the voting majority.

AP stressed that there’s no evidence of electoral fraud through this channel.

Trump and his men have exercised the vote by mail previously, but that has not stopped him from accusing Democrats of trying to manipulate elections.

Aside from everything he’s said, one fact so far remains objective: Joe Biden is so far leading the general elections that will take place in the United States on November 3rd.
