Iran's Revolutionary Guard Aerospace Force commander, Majid Mousavi, issued a stark warning Thursday, threatening to strike Israeli gas fields Leviathan and Karish. In a post on X, Mousavi referenced a prior statement by Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtabá Khamenei, who indicated that Tehran is weighing the opening of additional fronts should the war persist.

"His order has been heard," Mousavi wrote.

"The Leviathan and Karish fields are within our reach, along with dozens of other new targets," he added, cautioning that "with every new mistake made by the enemy, new fronts will be opened."

Earlier Thursday, Khamenei stated that "opening other fronts where the enemy has little experience and will be extremely vulnerable has been studied." He further noted that "their activation will take place if the war situation persists and based on our interests."
