Mexico, Nov 13 (Prensa Latina) Bolivian leader Evo Morales denounced from this country where he was granted asylum, that with the proclamation of opposition senator Jeanine Áñez Chávez, as interim president of Bolivia, the coup d'etat was accomplished.

In a tweet, the ex-president said 'the most artful and disastrous coup in history' had been accomplished, and disqualified the conditions under which Áñez Chávez took office.

'The most artful and disastrous blow in history has been consummated. A coupist right-wing senator calls herself president of the Senate and thus interim president of Bolivia without a legislative quorum,' said Morales Ayma.

He added that the coup was accomplished 'on the blood of brothers killed by police and military forces used for the coup.'

'I denounce before the international community that the act of self-proclamation of a senator as president violates the Constitution of Bolivia and the internal rules of the Legislative Assembly,' he reiterated.

Áñez Chávez, second vice president of the Senate, had proclaimed herself moments before the president of the upper house in the absence of the head of the body and first vice president, allegedly asylum seekers at the Mexican embassy in Bolivia.

'We want to call elections as soon as possible,' he said in a speech. The Constitution establishes that after the resignation of President Evo Morales on Sunday, the Vice President, the head of the Senate or the head of Deputies should assume the line in succession, but all also resigned from their positions.

Morales resigned last Sunday as president after a demand from the military and after the Organization of American States launched an alleged report on supposed serious irregularities in the elections of October 20, triggering the coup.
