Havana, Aug 11 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla on Thursday received Spanish Ambassador Ángel Martín Peccis to whom he reaffirmed his deep interest in going on progressing in strengthening bilateral relations.
On Twitter, Rodríguez stated: “We reaffirm the willingness to continue strengthening bilateral political talks and economic, commercial and cooperation ties” between the two nations.
Likewise, Rodríguez Parrilla thanked the batch of medicines and medical supplies sent to Cuba for the lethal accident at the Matanzas oil terminal.
The fire gradually spread destroying three other oil storage tanks. It has been considered as Cuba´s largest fire incident ever, leaving two dead, 14 missing people, over a hundred injured and huge material losses to date.
