Experts in China on Monday criticized the efforts by the West to politicize the world deployment of the 5G technology, with proposals that highlight the legal and ideological system of the country of service providers.

In statements to the newspaper Global Times, experts described as unfair the initiative, which was approved at a recent conference on the issue in Prague by representative of 30 countries, including the United States, Australia and Germany.

Neither China nor Russia were invited to the meeting, although they support the design of open and unified standards to install the new technology, which is the fastest.

'The intention is very clear (...) to attack China and Huawei. They want to make the rules based on their own values and ideologies to go against the companies from states with different political systems,' Xiang Ligang, general director of a local firm specialized in cybersecurity, said.

Experts and international media even consider that the proposal is a dissuasive method against the 2025 Made in China plan, which is the government's project to maintain sustained growth based on innovation, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and Big Data.

The project prioritizes new sectors, including the integration of technology and industry, the strengthening and restructuring of the manufactory foundation, development, the environmentally friendly promotion of manufacture and the internationalization of domestic brands.
