Caravan against US Blockade vs. Cuba Held in Miami
especiales

Sponsored by organizations representing Cuban migration rooted in Miami, members of Alianza Martiana coalition, organized and carried out another successful caravan against the US blockade.
Three days prior to the US presidential election, a caravan of cars —each of them with their lights on, honking their horns, and displaying posters demanding the end to the blockade — traveled more than 12 miles in Westchester, Miami town with a high percentage of Cuban citizens.
There is much at stake in this upcoming presidential election regarding the US policy towards Cuba. As Cuban people, it affects us in a special way. That is why we got back to Miami streets to demand the end of the US blockade, which is the worst example of several US government´s endless aggressive position against the Cuban people. And such blockade is still there, having no major changes in its content.
Until the blockade can be removed completely and unconditionally, it will continue affecting the life, welfare, and health of our people in Cuba, as well as their right to develop in peace. We, the members of the organizations forming Alianza Martiana coalition, will continue demanding the end of such cruel and inhumane policy.
