Argentina and Cuba Strengthen Bonds of Economic Integration

The Vice-president of the Republic of Argentina, Amado Boudou, who arrived in Havana on Thursday on an official visit, said that he has great expectations of economic integration with Cuba.
In statements to the press, the top official pointed out that his visit to the island is part of the great dream of Latin America of a real integration, one that contributes to put an end to economic colonialism.
Boudou’s agenda includes a visit to various areas of economic interest, like the Special Development Zone of Mariel and Havana’s Scientific Area.
Likewise, he will meet with officials of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, during which topics of common interest for commercial exchanges between the two nations will be tackled.
