Angola: Cuban Embassy Wants to Support Luanda Government in Sanitation

The sanitation problems sensitize the Cuban Government, as a result, it expressed on Tuesday its willingness to support the Provincial Government of Luanda, in the improvement of this sector.
The guarantee of the aid was transmitted by the Cuban ambassador to Angola, Gizela Garcia at the end of an audience granted to her by the provincial governor, Higino Carneiro, with whom she discussed issues of common interest.
"We know that Luanda is facing many challenges in the health and sanitation sector, so we came to demonstrate the willingness of the Embassy of Cuba in helping the Government of Luanda in all that is necessary for the success of the governor's work and well-being of the population", said the diplomat.
According to the diplomat, there are many bilateral projects with the Provincial Government of Luanda, mainly in health area, with doctors in almost all public and private hospitals.
Gizela Garcia has announced that her government expects only that the provincial governor of Luanda indicates the areas where Cuba can contribute.
