The National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus sent a message of solidarity to the Parliament of Cuba, expressing concern over trends that undermine the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter. This was reported by Santiago Pérez, Cuban ambassador in that country, through the portal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cubaminrex.

The working group of the Belarusian parliament on cooperation with the National Assembly of People's Power expressed unease over the events surrounding the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and labeled actions of interference in the internal affairs of independent states as a violation of sovereignty.

According to the document, political claims against Cuba and other sovereign countries in Latin America are also concerning. It warned that such stances promote the logic of force and ultimatums, which threatens global and regional stability.

The legislators recalled that Belarus endured the horrors of two world wars and reaffirmed their adherence to the sovereign equality of all states within the framework of a multipolar world based on justice and equity.

The message urged the parliaments of all countries to defend the fundamental norms of international law and emphasized that dialogue, mutual respect, and adherence to the UN Charter should form the basis of communication between states.

The parliamentarians warned that any country's attempts to assume the role of a "peace judge" or "peace police" are doomed to failure and lead to chaos, in reference to practices that affect international stability.
