Cuban Para-Shooting Team Reaches International Podium

Cuban multi-Pan American medalist Yenigladys Suárez added another title to her record on the second day of the 4th Open Para-Shooting Championship, International Club Grand Prix of Arequipa, in Peru.
Suárez claimed the gold medal in the 50-meter mixed pistol SH1 event with a total score of 202.5. Fellow Cuban athlete Alexander Reyna joined her on the podium, securing the silver medal with 201.5 points, according to Jit. The bronze went to Panama’s Arístides Guevara, who tallied 173.8 points.
The Cuban delegation amassed two golds and two silvers, having also dominated the 25-meter mixed pistol event, with Reyna taking first place and Suárez finishing as runner-up.
In the 10-meter air rifle SH1 mixed event, the United States’ Landon Ruggera emerged victorious, followed by Peru’s Jorge Arcela and U.S. shooter Toai Nolan.
The 10-meter air rifle SH2 mixed event was won by Brazil’s Bruno Stov. Americans Benjamin Hays and Jadon Nafziger claimed silver and bronze, respectively.
