Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel received the credentials of diplomats accredited as ambassadors in this capital who are representing seven nations, the Foreign Ministry informed on Tuesday.
 
Together with acting Foreign Minister Gerardo Peñalver, the head of State took the documentation of Vitaly Petrovich Borchuk, from Belarus; Lee Ho-yul, from the Republic of Korea, and Zdeněk Kubánek, from the Czech Republic, as well as Aleksandar Bogdanić, from Bosnia Herzegovina; Bharat Raj Paudyal, from Nepal; Filipo Tarakinikini, from the Republic of Fiji, and Lara Erab Daniel, from the Republic of Nauru.

During the ceremony, the president assured that the Government and the Foreign Ministry will support the efforts of the heads of official missions in Cuba.

He also expressed the willingness to take advantage of existing opportunities to strengthen diplomatic relations, and strengthen and diversify economic ties with these States.
