Cuba condemns U.S. measures against Iran's oil sector

In a post on X, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla condemned the unilateral coercive measures taken by the United States against Iran's oil sector, which he described as arbitrary and contrary to international law and likely to have repercussions on the stability of an already the troubled region.
According to official sources, the U.S. Treasury Department imposed sanctions on Friday on more than a dozen individuals and companies engaged in a network accused of facilitating the shipment of millions of barrels of Iranian oil to China.
The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) imposed sanctions on persons and entities in China, India and the United Arab Emirates, including Iranian and Indian nationals, crew management companies, and an assortment of ships.
